How to join

We are currently experiencing a high number of applications, especially to join the Academy (see Junior Athletics for further details), and may not be able to offer a place immediately. A club official will advise you whether or not you will have to go on a waiting list. Naturally we shall do our best to accommodate you as quickly as possible. If you wish to proceed, you should then come to the club on a Monday or Thursday evening between 6 and 7 pm to discuss the position.

You need to be 9 years of age or older (no upper age limit) and must complete the application process. This can be done by obtaining an application form from the club office.

When you have completed the form, you will need to print a copy and bring it to the club in person for the attention of the membership secretary.

For information about membership, please contact the membership secretary Boudewyn Ligthart (boudewyn_ligthart@hotmail.com) or any club officer.

Naturally all members are expected to pay an annual subscription and these are shown below.

Members are entitled join a suitable coaching group if there is an available space and to use the facilities of the club room. Members are eligible to represent the club in club teams and to wear the club’s distinctive competition vest. Social occasions are arranged from time to time and the club’s environment is a great opportunity to get fit and make new friends.

That’s all. Easy isn’t it?
